What do you do when you are financially embarrassed?

Once in a while most of us go through money issues which we sometimes question ourselves as to how it all happened. Undergoing the stress of not having enough to spend on necessities is a normal phenomenon, it is true that once in while we tend to misuse money unknowingly as a result of impulse buying and the desire to fulfil our human materialistic instinct. In moments like that all we can think of is how we can quickly get out of the situation and who to turn to for help.

Some people tend to blame themselves for not trying hard enough to make things better financially for themselves and their loved ones. Being too hard on yourself will not pay your debt or solve your financial problem, what you have to do is to try and take a lesson out of the situation and find out ways you can manage your finances effectively.

Buying a car on a budget

Deciding on whether or not to get a new car can be a huge decision to make especially when you on a tight budget.  You might be saving up for something special but what do you do when you have a growing family or a problematic car that takes up more of your money and time.  When deciding on the type of car we should get for ourselves or the family, we sometimes get carried away about wanting to drive the nicest and luxurious car forgetting that our tight budget limits us from doing so.

We should always remember to live and spend within our budget to prevent any financial crises.  It will be in your own interest to sit down with a calculator and add up how much a new car will cost bearing in mind the cost of insurance, fuel, servicing and payment of contract. It will be a good idea to spend a bit of your time to research on the internet or even ask friends and family about the best car deals in town.

As we all know fuel and road tax are what make cars expensive to run so as a buyer it is important to consider these factors after considering how much you are willing to spend on a new car. When it comes to road tax the higher a car’s CO2 emissions are, the more it’ll cost you in the first year of road tax.  As for fuel, cars with diesel engines are more costly than cars with petrol engines however diesel engines are more economical to run than petrol engines.  It is up to you whether you are willing to spend more on a diesel engine car and save later or save on a petrol engine car and spend more later.

The cost of servicing the car is another factor to consider when buying a new car; we are often tempted to go to independent garages to service our cars since they save us money. According to car experts it is always advisable to service your car at franchised garages since they know more about your car and how to service it properly however if you decide on an independent garage, make sure they  service your car in line with the manufacturers recommendation, rules and regulations.

Looking for a better insurance for your car can be very costly so do not forget to do your research about how much insurance the car you are about to buy will cost. It is always a good idea to check a price comparison site to look for the best deal.

As money is very hard to come by these days, it is never a bad idea to buy a second hand car which is in good condition but we should not be tempted to buy a nice looking second car which will be expensive to run.

Educating our children on the use of money

Money is a very important aspect of our lives, as parents and guardians it is our responsibility to teach our children the value and importance of money.  According to research children begin to learn and understand numbers and the purpose of money from age two onwards, which is why is not a surprise that the government I of England in 2014 introduced financial education as a compulsory course in the secondary school curriculum.

As parents we can all bear witness to the fact that our children learn a lot from our daily activities especially when it comes to what we buy from high street shops and from the supermarkets to our homes. Children gradually observe and learn about the purchase of important household items and how to save for future occasions such as Christmases and birthdays.

Parents giving pockets money to their children is a way of teaching their children how to value and handle money. It is considered the child’s first step and experience towards managing money in a way they think it’s best for them. Parents should not forget to teach their children that the best way to have money is to earn it in a respectable and responsible way.

According to many parent they instil this value in their children by encouraging them to partake in activities in the household that benefits the whole family. The children are assigned various tasks to work on and when they successfully complete them they are given a reward in a form of pocket money.

Teaching your children how to handle money does not only make them responsible but boost their confidence as well.  Children always need a helping hand to build a good foundation for their future and we can all agree that having a good financial education from parents whom children often see as role models will go a long way in shaping their financial life.

Indeed life can be very busy and household expenditures a bit too high but it will be in our own interest and the interest of our children future to make time and put aside a bit of money as pocket money for the children in order to help them build up this aspect of their lives at the very early stages.

Bonus system!

Bonus system!

Not sure which route to take when looking for a weekly payment loan? Are you looking for a lender who gives back to their customers?

At Home Credit Finance, we care about our clients. We feel that if you are a good, consistent payer with us then you should be rewarded.

This is why we introduced our monthly Bonus/Rebate system!

If you maintain your payments, for 4 weeks you will receive a rebate/bonus of the amount of your weekly payment taken off the total cost of your loan.

Which means less weeks and less money to pay!

For example, if your weekly payments are up to date, then every 4th weekly payment will receive a bonus payment therefore reducing the 37 week loan to a 30 week loan. This would make a HCF 30 week £1000 loan, £100 cheaper than a Provident 32 week loan.

Home Credit Finance loans

Home Credit Finance loans

Home Credit Finance is a friendly, personal service that provides small cash loans with low and affordable repayment rates that are collected each week by your own friendly, local agent.

The whole idea of Home Credit Finance is that you feel in control of your finances and can manage repayments easily. Home collected loans are different because your agent will call to your home to collect your payments at a prearranged time every week. Bank transfer repayments can also be arranged.

One of our agents will meet with you right at your door and will do a face to face assessment on how you will be able to meet payments.

When we issue a loan, unlike some lenders, we are not looking to over lend you so that it seems like there is no light at the end. We are looking to develop a sensible, long term relationship with our clients. Once you have built your relationship with us you can apply for a larger loan.

We provide cash loans for any purpose and being unemployed and on benefits will not effect your ability to get a loan with us. We see benefits as a source of income!

We use a built in rebate system for consistent payers. If you pay your repayments consistently for 4 weeks you will receive a rebate/bonus of the amount of your weekly payment taken off the total cost of your loan. Which means less weeks and less money to pay! Customers who are not consistent with repayments will not apply for a rebate that month.

The total cost of the loan is fixed. There are no hidden charges or acceptance fees. If you miss a payment with us, we do not increase the cost of your loan!  And if you catch up on your repayments in time, you will still receive your rebate!
